The division of labour enables us to apply various kinds of training and skills, which all contribute to the common wellbeing and the creation of better conditions for all the members of society.
The third tie is gender.
The way in which men establish relationships with the opposite sex, and the fulfilment of the function sex, depend the role played by each one for the continuation of the species.
The relationship between sexes is another problem, whose solution strongly depends on the other two factors.
To positively solve the problem represented by love, marriage or cohabitation, it is necessary to find a job – thus contributing to the division of labour – and establish friendly relations with the other men.
As we can see, still today the best solution to this problem in line with the needs of society and the division of labour is monogamy.
These three problems are not independent, but rather shift their burden on to one another, to the extent that the solution of one of them fosters the solution of the other two.
Actually, they represent different aspects of the same situation and problem: the need of human beings to protect their life and continue the species in their own environment.
Now, let me stress that those women who contribute to the continuation of mankind through maternity have the same crucial role of the other individuals within the division of labour.
In conclusion (albeit temporarily), with reference to employment, we must admit that there is still a great deal to be done – every politician should bear this in mind – and that the division of labour can be further improved (and important decisions should be made in this sense.)
However, in order to improve the condition of the other individuals through our work, every attempt to solve the employment problem must include cooperation and division of labour.
